I feel the need to blog mainly because i'm really bored. I don't feel like reading...my treadmill is calling my name and I'm ignoring it....have you seen that Geico commercial with the singing money? That is what my treadmill does :) But my excuse is I've been having pretty bad back pain for about the past week. I guess i'm to that point...s0 ends the second trimester bliss and the beginning of the end (I'm in my last trimester as of this week....drastic change :) ) but at least we have decided on a name before the baby is born- Madelyn mostly she'll be called"Maddie" Sadie told me she does not like the name (she didn't like my other choice either- Sophie- it was "ugly" she wants me to name the baby Serena or Sara...really?! She won't let it go either. Sadie doesn't have a middle name so Madelyn won't either- our girls just don't and the boys have initials only - just like ben.
Ben left this morning and won't be back until after the primary activity friday night- another reason for my boredom probably .....I have tons to do but haven't found the umph to do it yet :) We are leaving next week to go to Utah for our annual camping trip with Ben's family. We are looking foward to it...lots to do to get ready!
Today we had an interesting experience. Kyle plays a lot with the little boy across the street. A new girl just moved in, their same age. This neighbor boy and her played all day and when Kyle came home from school he wanted to join....but they wouldn't let him. They were only playing with one another. Kyle was so sad. He felt so left out and had no one to play with. This was the first time something like this really happened to him. I felt terrible for him and tried to talk to his friend. But he told me he was "only playing with the new girl" ..... Ben had a long talk with him over the phone that I think really helped him. Plus another neighbor girl who is in 4th grade came over and they really had lots of fun. The other 2 kids eventually came out and started to play with everyone. kyle walked over to them and said I really wanted to play with you guys, and it was rude to leave me out- it made me feel bad. I was impressed at the way he handled the situation- he wasn't talking mean, just saying how it made him feel. And he did it himself without me stepping in. Man that's a tough thing to watch though.
