12:20 Zach gets dropped at bus stop

12:30-3 eat lunch (me and Zach), clean, shower, pick up sadie
3:08 be home for kyle
4:30 start dinner
5:30-6:30 clean up the somehow HUGE dinner mess
7 bedtime fights begin
8-9 treadmill
then die of exaustion sometime after that
way too scheduled
somewhere in this schedule maddie has learned to walk (I hope to post a short video in a minute), and Zach is potty trained.
Zach woke up Saturday morning and said No More Diapers (I certainly haven't wanted to go there...I will gladly change diapers given his temperment and Sadie taking a full year to get it in control) So I said ok...he's done Fantastic. No accidents running errands, dry at church, and came home from school in the same clothes he was sent in. He'll go on his own (sadie never would) it's been great, he's excited and takes control himself.
Ben's work car went into the shop last week (his miles are up, and he is ordering a new car, but smaller so goodbye free gas) anyway the transmission is shot and the fleet car company won't repair it so now we can't buy it (we got a pretty good deal on the last one) so i was really bummed about that. Ben was glad, what if we had bought it, then took it in to find out it needs $5000 in repairs. We were going to buy it like next week. dodged a bullet there. too bad it was a nicer car.....
sadie turns 5 next week...I can't believe it crazy! (and i'm still behind from Kyle's birthday over a month ago:) )
I'm like 1/2 through mockingjay right now (I reread the first 2) and I have to say it's a bit of a let down so far. When a book is anticipated for almost a year I guess that's bound to happen....What did you think? No spoilers please!!!
So I'm going to take the leap. Now that I've been a blogger for some time I think it's time to improve another one of my must have skills- Couponing. That's right binder and all. We'll see. I need to beef up food storage and who doesn't want to save money and come home with 25 tubes of toothpaste for $3 haha just kidding. I can make fun of it since I am doing it right? :)
Yesterday I promised the kids we'd go to the library. It was a great trip. We found Kyle some good books (he doesn't like to read. It's like the end of the world for me. A huge failure.) but I think we've had some progress over the past couple of weeks. Anyway he wanted his own library card so we wait in line and find out about that. While we are in line Zach says "I am ready for going" sternly. Alarms start going off in my head....Evacuate NOW!!! that means i have about 20 seconds before he blows. but i haven't checked out any of like the 30 books we have. I go to a different counter than he wanted me so a few screams begin. Then I have a system....scan and stack the books so I know what is done right? NO kyle and sadie start grabbing books, scanning, stacking not scanned books in the pile. Then zach wants to scan while i'm trying to regain control maddie has climbed out of the stroller and is crawling away anyway zachs book won't scan so i help him find the barcode and BAM I look like that out of control crazy mom with all the kids .....everyone was staring i have zach in a headlock practically so i can have my hand over his mouth trying to figure out whats been scanned what hasn't. A librarian came over to help.....ugh it was terrible. I can't explain the situation so that it can fully be understood...will they let me in next time? :) I started crying as soon as we got outside . That left an impression on Zach. Haha.
