I just went to the library's website to put Mockingjay, the third book in the hunger games series by Suzanne Collins on hold. There are 1206 people ahead of me....what?! i think it'll be worth the 8 bucks to buy it. If you haven't read The Hunger Games or Catching Fire get them. Get them now....i bet the holds will go up when the third one is released. You will fly through these books...they are sooo good!

bits of randomness

Yesterday Zach was riding his bike and fell off face first. he was grumpy anyway and when he started crying i thought about ignoring him....until i saw blood literally pouring out of his mouth. I was sure he knocked out a tooth. I ran him inside and thankfully ben was having an office day. I don't do large amounts of blood. I guess if i was alone I would have to. I have a tough stomach but really almost lost it a few times. It was like drool puddling in a baby's mouth and then pouring out all at once, with blood. He bit his lip. DEEP. But within about 10 minutes he was back on his bike. wow

I'm now saving money for a new bed. I love my bed. But for about 1 year I've woken up many mornings with a sore back. Ben thought I was being dramatic. Last week ben woke up ONE morning with a sore back and he said "it's time for a new mattress my back hurts" nice- you're just being dramatic I said :) haha.

Last night before going to bed ben was recalling memories of the last 8 years (today's our anniversary). After thinking of many good ones, some not so good - of course he'd remember those :) )he said....You think we'll make it another 8 years? WHAT?! i think he was trying to make me mad he started laughing. He really knows how to bring on the romance :)

Zach enjoys saying bad words. He says them knowing they are bad and does it on purpose(stupid). He probably gets his mouth washed out with soap 3 -15 times a day :) he doesn't care. He'll laugh, or he'll say things like "haha i got it out" by wiping his mouth. i dread the day he learns a really bad word. I don't know what to do with him.

I bought a jogging stroller cheap on craigslist yesterday. A few days ago I pulled out my good old rollerblades (that i bought on craigslist in CA in hopes of getting in shape :) ) In high school I rollerbladed a lot. to the store, to the pool where i worked...ben and i would go on dates rollerblading. anyway now we go to the elementary school behind our house ben and the kids ride bikes. i walked. now i can keep up on my blades. If only i could figure out braking, turning, and hills again :) man i'm a chicken.

This weekend we're going camping. Really excited about that. I wonder will it ever actually be summer here???

Went and saw Eclipse last week. I loved it. Lots better than the second...lots better. Something about those books that I like. of couse it's "cheesy" but just kind of fun.

I have ben's birthday present already...his birthday isn't until august 13. I can't wait. Usually we don't wait until birthdays to give the presents. just how ben is. he also never lets me spend money on him. he always returns his presents. He can't return this. He's turning 30. Ben has always said once we turn 30 we are no longer "cool". My present is cool. It's one last time to be cool :) He doesn't read my blog so i'm safe. but i'm still not saying what it is. I'll give you one hint....it's cool

What have we been doing??

Wow it's been a busy few weeks. We went to Utah to camp with Ben's family. Before camping my sister in law and I went to Color Me Mine (ever been?! soo cool) and I painted this cookie jar:

ben and i went on an overnight date to Lagoon. It was fun to do whatever for a day. lagoon was fun....but "we're not in high school anymore" so we probably won't go back any time soon :)

Went camping, last time maddie got her 2 bottom teeth she had a 104+ fever for a week, and one day it went to 105. I took her to the dr, but they didn't find anything. Anyway while there she got the fever. Thankfully i threw in a bottle of tylonal in the camping bags. It was hard since i couldn't ever put her down....she'd scream. Very unlike her. It lasted a full week, and the day we returned home she was back to normal...she has 4 top teeth cutting through right now. nice timing maddie. it was still a fun trip. can't wait till she's not teething and walking next year :)

Before we left ben took the training wheels off of Zach's bike. So he now rides a 2 wheeler...he's crazy. We taught him on this tiny bike but now he's back to his big bike.

My pool had a hole in it after i filled it up the other day...it was like 95 so we went and bought a slip and slide. they love it.....now my back yard is mud.

I'm back to the old workout routine. it's hard to get back into it after vacation. Hoping to be at a solid 30 lbs by august 1.

well i guess that's it. Not too exciting :)
