it's been awhile.
blogging is like a big internal struggle....to blog or not to blog.
i go through periods of striking my blog.
now i'm back
I think part of it is the lull of the winter?!
my kids were home all day yesterday and my house is now in shambles but still i blog. :)
We've been busy. Kyle started piano lessons a few months ago, and Basketball (he is the smallest one on the team by at least a foot!) i'm talking he's lucky if his ball hits the bottom of the net!!!
Sadie's had a traumatic month of dr. appts, and going to seattle children's for a "procedure" where she again had to be put to sleep....for a constant UTI she's had for 18 months!!! She's fine now.
I'm thinking the bill will be traumatic for me :)
Zach started sunbeams. nightmarish. i think it's getting better though. Really wish i was in there.
Sadie and Zach start soccer next week. They will be on the same team! YEAH only one practice and game. very excited about that! Last year soccer was nightmare of my life. i think it'll be better this year.
Maddie is beastly as ever. She has dumped out all my almond extract and cumin powder (yes she did cry about the taste :) )
put my ipod in the toilet (ben was babysitting)
colors on EVERYTHING
eats NOTHING but grapes and milk...and chicken nuggets don't get me started
all she wants to do is wander around the house and rip stuff apart

but she's cute :) and she started nursery on sunday. YEAH :)
So here's an embarrassing story. My kids went through a phase at xmas time of watching home alone. On Saturday Zach and kyle were playing and kyle yelled upstairs to zach "i'm down here you big horses a--"
WHAT?! he said "well i was just kidding" um doesn't matter. though everytime i think about it i to giggle :) don't judge me. he'll never say it again :)
We went to mcd's and sadie said that their Chocolate milk is so much better than ours. "they must melt real chocolate before putting in the milk...not that powder stuff we use"
And finally....I bought a new comforter a few months ago. I wake up one morning to a big "RIP" sound. Ben somehow managed to rip a foot long tear on the underside. not on a seam or anything. he was "just trying to get warm" WHAT?! ...only him. When sadie found out she said "Why would a man rip a lady's bed?"
haha I thought it was so funny.
and finally things to look foward too
next week my parents come for my younger brothers wedding! yeah,
the end of march ben's brother and wife are coming for a visit. it will be fun. added benefit ben and i are going on a night away.....to bellevue. haha. i don't care if it is only down the street still exciting :)
