Whoa as me!

I'm down in the dumps lately.   Maybe i'm sick of rain and winter.....or maybe it's  this weekend ben took our external hard drive and hooked up up to his computer.  This holds all of our music....i'm going to say like 12 gigs or more.  We LOVE music.  Plus ALL of the pictures since we got a digital camera....2 days after Kyle was born!!!!  ALL of them - all my babies pictures.  Did you get that I said ALL of them :)  Me being the terrible mom that I am- I don't scrapbook so very few are actually printed out.  Actually about 6 months ago i printed ones from Kyle born- age 2 and Sadie being born.  I was going to create albums.  WHy couldn't I have done Zach   Anyway back to my point .   The hard drive tipped over on ben's desk and now it won't work!  IT's all gone.  At least I have pictures I have emailed to family since kyle was about 1.  at least it's something.  Quotes online to do data recovery are $700-$1000 or more!  Of course I say WORTH IT :)  Ben says no way....if anything for the MUSIC- seriously?!  Now I get a daily reminder of being a terrible non journaling mom :(  I got really excited because i then found my pictures in photoshop....but they were just "ghost" copies.  

So that was monday night.  Since then I've been in a funk.  My kids have been super clingy/grumpy.  ok that's Zach and a little bit of sadie.  

I also feel like I've gained like 10 lbs TODAY.  I've eaten terrible...can't get enough chocolate :)  ever have days like that?  good thing I'm out of some of the key ingrediants for Brownies....i'm sure i'll make a run to the store between now and tomorrow :)  and the gym?  Don't even go there.  it's been like 1 1/2 weeks since i've been.  

see i'm just depressing :)  This weekend we're going to the tulip festival.  Hopefully that will make my week happy :)

It's a.....

So today I went for my ULTRASOUND!!! I was so excited- they made me wait until 20.5 weeks when I had a dr appt.  I remember having mine with Kyle when i was 16 weeks!!!  Anyway it's a GIRL.  Yeah!   I've really thought this one is a girl but didn't want to say much because ... what if it wasn't you know?  Yesterday when I was telling Kyle that we find out if it's a boy or girl today he thought for a minute and said "So what do they do.. look at the eyelashes to know?"  It took me a second to figure out girls eyelashes are typically longer than boys :)  funny.  I told Sadie today that it's a girl and she said Mooooom I Knowwwww :)  She's been calling it a girl for awhile and then she said "is she coming mom?  Is she coming right now?  I said no not for a long time and she said "Ohhhh she's taking a really long time to come:)  I'm glad she'll have a sister-I was the oldest with 3 little brothers and always wanted one myself :)

Catch-Up

Well I've been a lame blogger lately :)  We've had a busy couple of weeks.  Last week we had a great time enjoying the "warm" (70ish) weather that was all the talk in Seattle for a couple of days after...can't wait till next week and it hits again.  We enjoyed the zoo, parks, riding bikes (we got Zachy a new bike so he can stop tormenting the other kids :) ) .  It was great.  

On Saturday the kids dyed easter eggs.  They LOVE doing this...I have to buy several boxes of dye to do it throughout the year.  Every time Zach would pull an egg out he'd yell "whoaaaaaa" it was pretty funny.  Sadie of course wanted nothing but pink and purple and Kyle drew fun things on his eggs with a special crayon like spiders and tried mixing all colors together.  At  the end zach got a little too excited and decided to pour the green color EVERYWHERE!  

Easter sunday was pretty layed back.  The kids didn't even glance at their easter baskets until after church!  The kids were up pretty late the night before playing Wii with dad :)  

We did end up having an egg hunt at about 7:30 that night...inside since it rained all day.  Sadie really knows how to look for eggs :)  

The library and I are NOT friends

Ok so it's time to vent.  I do not think I am an irresponsible person...well maybe I am and it's one of those terrible flaws that you don't see but everyone else does you know?  About 2 months ago we rented Pirates of the Caribbean 2 from the library.  Not for me...for kyle.  I personally didn't like the movie....but whatever.  So one day I went to the temple and when I left they were watching the movie and then when i came home it was GONE.  No I'm not blaming anyone but my children for this (ben if you are reading this :) ) It was no where...I tore my house apart.  I couldn't find it (still haven't found it).  So I went to the library to pay for it...they wanted me to pay $35 for it?!  ARE YOU SERIOUS that's more than blockbuster charges (so I hear i've never lost a movie before :) ) so I got "special" permission to purchase on off the internet and bring it to them...mine was 11 with shipping...Well 1 1/2 weeks ago we went to the library and I picked out a Peter Cottontail book for Sadie (you know those...VERY SMALL?!) like the size of an index card...guess what ... IT IS NOWHERE.  I have to find this book!  We have never lost anything before that movie this cannot happen again.  They will probably try to charge me $27 for this book :)  then I look like a loser that can't keep track of the books.
