Big Ben in the House

Ben informed me last night that he could totally DJ a dance. We were talking about the ward V-Day dance this weekend and saying that he could probably dj for it if he had the time to put together a playlist. He even sampled his stuff "yo yo yo this is Dizzy D coming at you from the valentines dance" or...."Let's kick it next with a Ladies Choice" As you can imagine i was rolling on the floor. Dizzy D? weird deep voice? where do these things come from? Who thinks about what they would say if they were dj'ing a dance? I told him to stick with classic songs like "take my breath away" and lose dizzy d. He should just stick with Big B. D. anyway

New Years Eve

We went to a friends party on new years eve...we made fun party hats, ate yummy food, and played fun games. Ben and i were supposed to be posing for a picture at midnight but he decided to crack a joke about a "legendary" new years eve back when we were dating in high school .... 16 years ago . He made it sound very risque . It wasn't. That's all I'm going to say on that. but here is the picture. I love it. Thanks Jenni :)

Zachy's 5

Zach turned five a few weeks ago. It was a fun day. At our house presents are first thing in the morning .... a fun way to wake up I guess. This year he wanted G.I. Joes, a jeep for them a remote control Mario Kart and a few other fun things. I made him a spongebob cake last minute (he requested the night before...sunday) so it's not that great but it made him happy. Spongebob has since been "banned" in our house. That show is on all the time. But after watching the kids make the dumbest jokes...so we're taking a break. back to the bday. Ben was working from home so we took him to lunch at panda express (he really looks forward to lunchdates ....we've only been a few times :) ) but this was extra special since dad went with, and he got his own "topper" what he called the to go box of his own....that he shared with maddie :) We had cake after family night...which for some reason i can't remember Zach got in trouble and then trew a huge fit. to try to calm him down I gave everyone party blowers and attacked him with them :) it was funny

Maddie Moves Like Jagger

Moves like Jagger has been a favorite of Maddie's for awhile. "Up mom" she says if it's not loud enough. She sings with the Christina Aguilera part and I finally caught it on video. This time she decided to mix it up a bit and throw in some finger shaking.... enjoy:)
