Could this be IT?!!

I think we have finally had a break through!!! Last night Sadie had gotten out of the bath and I haden't gotten her dressed yet.  I was working on Zachy's bath or something.  She started to have a accident but stopped herself and ran for the bathroom!  I couldn't believe it.  We've been accident free since last night at about 6 pm!!! i am so excited.  We even ran to the store to let Sadie pick out some more underwear to keep her going...and a movie- Why did it take so long for us to get Redboxes?!  All my depressing "what ifs" may be over..."what if I have 3 kids in diapers ... again..." "What if she can't go to preschool because she's not potty trained" "what if I loose my deposit to the preschool and my sanity because she won't be going there" You get the idea.  Anyway here's hoping....

What we've been up to

I guess I should do my updates for this week.  Here is a story to share: Last Saturday night I ended up going to the hospital because I was having contractions and my urine looked like cranberry juice.  Gross...but true.  turns out I was dehydrated causing the contractions so they made me drink tons while on the moniters and sent me home with perscriptions for a bladder infection.  I felt really dumb.  I was there till about midnight....but it was nice to just have to lay in bed and watch the home and garden channel :)
So Sunday night-tuesday was absolutely terrible.  I had the worst pain in my lower side.  It felt like a charlie horse.  I really couldn't sleep.  I called the dr. on Monday morning to see if this is normal and the nurse tried to tell me it was those "sharp pains you get at this point in my pregnancy because of stretching ligaments"....seriously this is my 4th time i know what that feels like and this wasn't it!.  Then on Wed.  I still wasn't feeling better so I called the dr again (do you know how annoying and dumb I felt?!) and they told me to come in the next day for another sample.  That night I had severe back/side pain.  It started while I was sitting at my computer then i could hardly walk to my bed, i really coudln't lay down....I took like 3 really hot baths to try to get it to help.  No help.  I finally drifted to sleep for a few minutes 3 1/2 hours later and it eventually faded to bearable and just sore.  So the next morning i was ok until i was on my way to the dr....which took 45 min because of an accident.  I got the pain again just not as intense.  I went into the office dreading nothing being wrong and looking like a baby.  Turns out they found a kidney stone in my sample I left!  What are the chances.  Since then I felt completely better!  amazing.  Ben was out of town but kyle did an amazing job taking care of me :)  He learned from the best.
Thankfully I felt awesome for this amazing weather we've had.  On Friday we watched Taken...pretty intense.  Then Saturday we went to Coulon Beach for our first trip...and Ross right across the street.  I got some amazing deals- 3 sheet sets for $1 each on clearance, and a Boppy baby bouncer that babies r us is currently selling for $55 for $1~ can you believe that...and my family makes fun of Ross :)
On Monday we went to Seward Park, and a playground down the street.  we've had a great weekend.  Hope all of you did too!
I have some pictures to post but i have to figure out how to convert them to JPEG first :)

WOW

So on saturday I went and had a 3-d/4-d ultrasound done.  It was the coolest thing i've ever seen.  A lot of people think it's too weird...my doctor included.  So I understand if it's not your cup of tea.  It is crazy to actually see the baby and things they do once they are born- they are doing them all the time in there.  obviously I guess :)
We saw her "smile", make a cry face, and my favorite stretch...you know like newborns do...like a turtle :)  i took Sadie with me and she thought it was so fun!

Boys

What is the deal with boys.  Zachy has gotten holes in the knees of so many of his pants lately.  I thought it was just because they were hand me downs...not so.  I bought him a few new pairs when i find good deals...and he can't walk around with holey pants right?- but it still happens.  I patch them but it's just not the same.
Then there is Kyle.  same thing.  I NEVER pay full price for my kids clothes....clearance racks only.  i've been so lucky to find so may pants and occationally jeans at the children's place for $1.5-$5 max.  so I can't be too upset when holes get put in the knees right?  Except when the one time I did pay full price for 2 pairs of jeans for kyle...the next day-holes in the knee...i even bought the thicker denim.  ok so today I take Kyle to school we get there....he has NO shoes on.  Seriously?  I reminded him 3 times.  I think this time we were talking about which Mario kart character he has won....his brain is ruined :) I'm sure those preschool teachers think I've lost my mind some days.  anyway then he comes home this afternoon and yet another pair of pants is destroyed.  They didn't go outside it was raining....what could he possible do? were they practicing running then skidding on their knees instead of learning their ABCs??  Back to the children's place we go I guess-funny cause we were just there last week :)

Lots of Stuff

Well I'm finally posting something new. i have been going back and forth on blogging and not blogging. I can't decide. It's a good way to keep track of our day to day happenings i guess. We've kept busy the past few weeks. Sadie is going through some phase. She's colored on her walls with pens, her closet doors and dresser with crayons, the carpet with my lipstick. Then she took scissors to her bedspread-which might i add my mom made for me when i was little, her bed skirt, and 2 pillows. I was really mad at her that time. Well I guess not enough because the next day she found a different pair of scissors (i have NO idea where these all where...she must have a stash :) ) and cut up her sleeping beauty barbie dress. Other than that it's been pretty uneventful here :) We had a fun weekend...i think the beautiful weather helped. On friday I got a fun surprise....a canon rebel camera I've been eyeing for years! It was really exciting. Now i just have to learn to really use it. Any good websites/books to get to learn SLRs?On Saturday we went to the huge community garage sale not far from here. We really went with nothing specific in mind but found lots of fun things. I got a food dehydrator for $1...we'll see if it works right? but it was in the box so that's a good sign :) and ben bought a paint sprayer. he's REALLY excited about it. I think it's totally dumb. I guess we'll have to try painting someone's room and find out.....What else...a few things for the kids, a high chair i've been watching on CL but haven't found one for a price I'm willing to pay (I have one similar that just sit's on your kitchen chair, but this one reclines and stuff for small babies. I used to have a regular high chair but got rid of it after zachy) anyway on CL they're still selling for $25-30 and this guy was "babysitting" the garage sale for his wife while she went out shopping herself...so my good luck...only $5 :) Oh and finally a 2 wheel bike with training wheels for Sadie for $7. she was scared at first but enjoys it now. Oh yeah and a razor scooter for my Zach. He loves kyles and can really go fast...he's crazy it's pretty funny..and a few other things but it was fun to see what kind of deals we can get next :) Around when we were leaving people started firing up their grills to cook and sell hot dogs but zach was tired of the car. so we hit costco on the way home because they sounded good to us. After getting home we did yard work...ok ben did stuff in the garage, and i cut the grass, and weeded my gardens, and then ben helped me plant some new bushes our neighbor dug out of his yard. It was just one of those fun days. Sadie got a mild case of pink eye by evening time but luckily I save ALL prescriptions we've ever had (ok within a reasonable amount of time) and so I had some drops on hand :) So for mothers day ben did a really cute thing with the kids . One night when i was out he helped them make me a bouquet of "helping hands". Each one's hand stamped with paint on some foam and put onto sticks. so when i want them to do something I just hand them a hand :) cute idea. Kyle didn't think so. ben said while they were making them he said so why are these called Helping Hands...ben explained it to him and he had a look on his face and said "so do the hands help you do the work?" ben said No you do the work to help mom...and he said "oh" later he again said "I don't understand why they're called helping hands if they don't help you". I thought that was really funny. He definitely felt ripped off :)
