Brother Number 2

Ok so he is really named Spencer. I have 3 brothers. I think it's sometimes easier to call my kids numbers instead of names. ok just kidding but it would be funny "#1 go clean your room, #2 you can't play Barbie.com for the 4th hour today, #3 quit hitting...you get the idea :) . Spencer and his friend Carly came to visit us this weekend. It was great! We fought the crowds at the new local Mcd's...wow that's scary for a couple of college kids I'd bet. Then they played outside and at the park with the kids. We then played the Wii. Gotta hand it to them for being good sports and to Carly for letting my kids use her as a jungle gym :) Man Zach had a new best friend that day! It was especially fun when they endured the never ending soccer practice with me :) It's so hard to live far away from family.

Changes

Wow maddie is growing up so fast. It seems like when Zach was a baby I was wishing it away-terrible right?! Ok before you think i'm the worst mom ever he was the hardest baby ever. ok hardest of mine. He literally screamed every waking minute till he was 6 months then suddenly snapped out of it and was happier. He was needy though, still is.

But with Maddie i want her to stay a baby forever. She changing everyday. FINALLY i've gotten her on a bedtime routine. Around 7:30-8 she goes to bed (still wakes up a few times a night to eat. I'm going to end that REAL quick as soon as i know this isn't just a go to bed early phase :) )

Which I am a little said cause i did love my time with her at night. however I do love not having her a night too :)

She is now figuring out the baby food thing and is starting to like it. wheewww. even though i hate it and think it's the most disgusting thing ever. specially when the hands go up to the face. or grab at the spoon. ugh.

For the past few weeks she's been scooting/army crawling everywhere. She can get to whatever/where ever she wants. It just takes a little longer. She makes no attempts to get up on her hands and knees .... but why i guess when you can just move a long like a snail :)

She dropped from the 50%tile in weight to the 25%tile. One more drop and we'll be in trouble.

Get A Grip

The other morning Sadie had a major melt down. I'm not sure why something about hunger, purple dress, and school. Who knows sometimes us girls just need a good cry right?!

Anyway We had to get ready to go so I told Sadie she HAD to get a grip.

She stopped crying looked at me and said "But mom, I can't find my grip"

I feel that way a lot too :)
